ISBT Utrecht

Every year we organize an International Student Badminton Tournament (ISBT). During the tournament, participants from all over Europe compete on the badminton court based on their own skill level.

Besides being active on court, the weekend also includes filling meals, a two night sleepover in the sportshall and a themed party on Saturday night.

The upcoming edition of ISBT Utrecht will take place from March 27 to 29 2026. So block this date and more information about the event will follow soon!

See you in March!

Planning

All matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday from 9.00 AM onwards. However, the registration already opens on Friday night, giving you the opportunity to meet your fellow contestants and to set up your sleeping place. It is also possible to register on Saturday morning between 8.00 AM and 8.30 AM if you are unable to join us on Friday night. Both on Saturday and Sunday we will provide you with breakfast and lunch. Dinner on Saturday night is taken care of as well, after which we will dance the night away at the theme party.

Location

The event takes place at sports centre Olympos at Uppsalalaan 3 in Utrecht. Dinner and the theme party on Saturday will take place in the city centre of Utrecht. Make use of the arranged buses to get from the sports centre to the city centre, or hop on your own bike.

Both on Friday and Saturday you are welcome to sleep at Olympos. So make sure to bring your own sleeping gear. Dinner on Sunday is possible but has to be paid for seperately.

Price

The price for the event will soon be announced.

Where to sleep?

After a long day of playing and partying you can sleep in the sports centre on Friday- and Saturday night. Or you can sleep at home if you live nearby.
